Aerotek Ocean Import Coordinator in Wood Dale, Illinois

Currently hiring for a Ocean Import Coordinator role in a transportation and logistic company paying up to $25 / hour in Wood Dale, IL!

Job Description:

Ocean Importing

Track and trace inbound contains

Communicate shipment delays to customers and overseas

Quoting

Handle high volume email communication

Able to communicate on a high level with customers

Work with Excel, Outlook, Word

Input information into Cargowise

Tracking/tracing cargo - make sure it's in the port

Dispatching trucks to pick up containers - sending pick up numbers

Arrival notices were sent to broker, if not broker

Update customer reports, status of container

Manage the acquisition of imported goods from ensuring customers' paperwork is in order to arranging for delivery of shipped goods

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Needs Cargowise Software Experience Required

At least 1+ years of Ocean Import Experience Required

Company located in Wood Dale, Illinois, 60191

Contract-to-Hire (2 months)

Drug Test & Background Check Required

Freight forwarding experience required
