The Packer will ensure that product is correctly packaged as per product instructions and is completed in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be committed to the highest level of integrity, trust and responsibility; brings a hands-on approach to day to day operations and exhibit strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.


  • Ensure product packaging is completed accurately and in accordance with customer requirements

  • Set up and operate Packing related equipment

  • Ensure all measuring devices are accurate, any discrepancies are to be reported immediately to your Supervisor

  • Create, verify and apply barcode labels to appropriate packaging

  • Use computer to accurately enter all Company required information

  • Safely operate all required lifting/moving devises

  • Verifies daily inventory control and applies FIFO practices

  • Demonstrates innovation and initiative to improve safety, productivity, profitability and efficiency

  • Attend all company specified training

  • Maintains a clean and organized work area at all times

  • Accurate recording of time including time-clock, job activities and other data entry

  • Regular and punctual attendance at work

  • Compliance with relevant policies, procedures and instructions, including Code of Conduct

Education and Experience

  • Graduation from high school or receipt of equivalent (GED)

  • Experience working with machines in a manufacturing environment


  • Able to read and write in English

  • Able to follow instructions

  • Experience with a variety of material handling equipment

  • Basic mechanical, measurement and mathematical skills

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and other related software

  • Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards

  • Ability to recognize and understand Globally Harmonized Hazard Identification

  • Basic knowledge of ISO9001:2008 and TS16949:2009 quality systems

  • Basic data entry computer skills
