Forklift Operator

Do you have at least 1 year of experience operating a forklift (cherry picker)? Are you a hard worker passionate about keeping a facility on schedule? We are looking for forklift operators who pay attention to safety precautions, have the ability to stay focused and are ready to bring their skills to one of the areas leading logistics companies.

As a forklift operator you will play an important role within the warehouse, keeping shipments on schedule, by efficiently and safely picking, loading/unloading and moving products within the warehouse. The ideal candidate is reliable and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift (cherry picker / selector) to pick customer orders, stack and load

• Locate product within the warehouse facility to pick, put away, replenish and audit warehouse orders

• Push and pull freight and other general warehouse duties

• Complete all job functions while following SWI (Standard Work Instructions) and proper safety requirements

• Count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• operating a forklift (1 year of experience is required)

• moving material in a warehouse
