Position Summary:

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and timely picking, dispensing, delivering and returning all raw materials used in production to and from the Raw Materials Warehouse

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily 5S and cleaning programs

  • Pick, Stage and Deliver Raw materials used in Production

  • Perform inventory transactions using the ERP system

  • Utilize RF Scanners to perform inventory transactions

  • Perform Material put away activities for both incoming products and intermediate manufactured products

  • Safely dispense chemicals (some hazardous) for production use

  • Perform cycle count activities on a daily basis

  • Follow Standard Work and apply best practices

  • Cross trained to perform most RM warehouse functions

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years related experience

  • Some background in material handling and general warehouse flow is required

  • Ability to operate various forklifts and aerial lifts

  • Proficient computer skills required for inventory maintenance

  • Advanced problem solving ability in a fast paced environment

  • Proven to work well in a team environment

  • Provide occasional training and coaching to peers

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand/walk

  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds

  • Ability to wear and pass a full face respirator physical
