GROOT, a subsidiary of Waste Connections has an immediate opening for an Spotter / Operator at our materials recycling facility in Plainfield, IL. The position will be responsible for operating equipment including a front end loader, skid steer, forklift, baler and compactor. Additional duties include being a spotter and keeping the facility clean. This position does require working in all weather conditions.
Hours are 4 pm to 3 am - Monday through Friday and an occasional Saturday as needed.
You can expect weekly OT along with family benefits, 401k, and vacation.
Position pays $19.00 per hour with overtime after 40 hours.
Increases yearly based on performance.
The ideal candidate will have forklift/equipment operating experience.
