COMPANY: Ag-Land FS HIRING MANAGER: Ryan Mast LOCATION: Peoria, IL * PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT* To support Ag-Lands energy department market share and savings, improve Ag-Lands efficiency, help achieve Ag-Lands mission and goals, and provide outstanding customer service. * ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* Sales, service, installation, maintenance and repair for energy department tanks and miscellaneous items Be knowledgeable and use resources to make proper recommendations on installation of products and services sold. Maintain product inventory. Make delivers of products for fellow employees when needed. Assist in maintaining records and documentation for Energy Department Customers Continuously evaluate our equipment suppliers on timeliness, price and overall service provided. Perform monthly and quarterly facility inspections and maintenance and maintain proper regulatory documentation Have working knowledge of industry standards Must be able to obtain CDL with all required endorsements. Maintain Kickapoo Bulk Plant and F24 station as well as Dunlap Fast Stash. Maintains company vehicle, performs basic maintenance as needed. Attends and participates in training classes and meetings as required Performs all other duties as assigned. * REQUIREMENTS* Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years or more of sales experience to demonstrate strong reasoning ability to solve practical problems and handle customer inquiries and concerns. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement. Must attend and successfully complete the IPGA Propane Training Certification (CETP) Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must be able to travel independently and overnight. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Must be willing to work hours beyond those considered “normal.” Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Frequently exposed to extreme weather conditions. Working conditions may occasionally include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
