The Beverage Merchandiser (Sales Trainee) will service, sell, and deliver Red Bull to, an assigned route of accounts; while maintaining Red Bull merchandising standards in all accounts. A Beverage Merchandiser (Sales Trainee) is a position designed to evolve into our Account Manager role.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Service, sell, and deliver Red Bull products, to an assigned route of accounts
Ensure that a proper level of stock is maintained and that the merchandise is displayed appropriately with proper signage and favorable shelf placement.
Proper rotation of Red Bull products to avoid out of code or damaged product
Ensure all Red Bull products are merchandised in compliance with shelf schematics in chain and independent stores
Perform resets to Red Bull product standards
Develop and maintain friendly and professional relationships with customers
As business needs adjust, other duties may be assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Thorough understanding of Power Distributing?s sales processes and merchandising procedures
Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology
Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory
Understanding of using navigation device to travel on and off route
Basic math aptitude
Valid state motor vehicle operator?s license and proof of insurance
Proven safe driving record
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Must be at least 21 years old
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required
Merchandising or sales experience (preferred)
Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds at a time
Must be able to bend, stoop, climb ladder, be on feet for a long period of time
Must be prepared to travel, drive, and engage in considerable physical activity
$16.95 per hour
