We’re currently seeking aWarehouse Leadto join the team. As the Warehouse Lead, you will assist in ensuring all functions of the warehouse are completed in collaboration with the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Manager. Additionally, you will assign work to warehouse associates to ensure company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist supervisors on appointed shift with a variety of warehouse needs, including but not limited to loading, selecting, forklift operation, and supporting the balance of work flow.
Work in areas which need additional manpower.
Cover areas due to absences and/or vacations of supervisors and hourly employees.
Review punch detail reports (time records) to ensure punch in/out is recorded and report any inaccuracies.
Review production reports to assess associate's performance, including but not limited to, cases per hour or pallets per hour for forklifts.
Assist in training of new employees, including but not limited to forklift replenishments, receiving, or loading job functions. Demonstrate training ability and development of strong relationships.
Work directly with warehouse supervision in Slotting, GTIN functionality and overall general supervision duties on all daily operations.

Comply with safety policies and procedures.
Wear required personal protective equipment.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, and SKILLS:

Must be versatile and flexible with willingness to work in a variety of roles. Ability to speak effectively before groups employees of organization. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be able to use a straddle lift truck, riding pallet jack, or walkie pallet jack.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma with a minimum of two (2) years of related warehouse experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENCES, REGISTRATIONS:
Rider pallet jack certification required. May be required to maintain forklift and dock stocker certifications.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
