Receiving Department Material Handler—Hanover Park, IL

We have an opportunity for a 1st Shift Material Handler to join the Receiving department at our Hanover Park, IL team. You will be responsible for assisting in offloading incoming materials and placing them in inventory by using powered industrial equipment. The Material Handler also assists in production by ensuring that production lines are kept fully stocked with needed materials to continue making our product in a timely manner. Other responsibilities include:

• Perform tasks associated with material flow and inventory to ensure inventory accuracy

• Use powered industrial equipment, primarily a standing reach forklift and cherry picker – previous experience is required

• Execute picks for internal delivery to production cells while validating order accuracy

• Move material within the warehouse and manufacturing plant

• Pack, load, and unload a variety of conveyances

• Pay is $17/hr

Key Qualifications:

• Have previous experience using power industrial equipment such as a stand-up and order picker forklift

• Have the ability to speak, read, and write basic English, as well as basic math skills

• Be able to work overtime on a regular basis

• Be able to stand for an entire eight hour shift

• Be able to lift frequently 3-25 pounds and infrequently 25-50 pounds, as well as regularly bend and reach
