Fortive Corporation Material Handler in Glenwood, Illinois

Receive and in-process domestic and international service orders. Out-process and ship domestic and international service orders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process and expedite shipments, perform shipment transactions, package and label shipments

  • Receive equipment, book RMA’s and update service orders in Oracle/Depot/Met Suite for inbound deliveries of customer equipment

  • Maintains customer credit holds, communicates with customers and internal Fluke departments including Accounting, Logistics/Traffic, Customer Care, IT and System Support

  • Review contract/purchase orders to ensure customers’ quality requirements are met.

  • Recognize potential order problems. Research and resolve discrepancies.

  • Review and clear order holds as appropriate.

  • Review orders, equipment and paperwork for correct price, part number, accessories and shipping instructions

  • Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.

  • 2+ years of related Customer Service experience such as call center, order processing, quoting

  • Proficient using the Internet and sending/receiving electronic mails Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail..

  • Demonstrate excellent communication/interpersonal, organizational, as well as strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with other departments and customers with tact and diplomacy.

  • Able to complete tasks with moderate supervision using established sales policies, quote/order processing guidelines, procedures and export regulations.

  • The ideal candidate will have a customer service and/or logistics background, some familiarity with Oracle and knowledge and understanding of Fluke products and/or processes.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma required

  • Candidate must maintain neat, accurate and complete records and files.

  • Candidate must also have a high degree of self-motivation.
