Summary
Under the responsibility of the Manager, the Warehouse Kitting Supervisor internally titled, Supervisor Logistics is responsible to supervise, coordinate and oversee the logistics operations and provide coaching, development and training to the staff members. The successful candidate must be able to provide recommendations for improvements to the facility, equipment, machinery, and processes. They will be accountable that the staff is performing to standard and has to ensure that progress is made to achieve the business objectives.
Essential Functions
Oversee team of 6-12 Kitting technicians. Responsibilities include hiring, performance evaluation, training and professional development
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of work areas including maintenance and calibration of monitoring devices, general work center safety and cleanliness in compliance with established Quality standards
Work closely with the Master Planner to review kitting requirements and establish priorities, resolve problems, and report results
Drive process improvements, regulatory compliance & quality improvement projects, cost reduction efforts and capacity planning
Perform record reviews for kitting records and complete transactions for associated job orders
Participate in inventory control and replenishment, interfacing with area managers and other departments
Participate in documentation and other process improvements, investigations and resolutions of product/process issues and general continuous improvement activities
Manage requirement for contracted workforce
Additional Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Monday through Friday
6:00 am to 2:30 pm - Additional days and hours may be needed to support operational needs.

Qualifications
College degree/Technical Certification required in Business, Logistics, Transportation or a related field. Combination of other education and experiences will be considered
Three (3) years or more supervisory position experience in a warehouse environment or in Transportation required
Three (3) years or more experience in monitoring, evaluating and rewarding employee performance required
Three (3) years or more experience in performance management taking into account progressive discipline required
Three (3) years or more experience preparing and conducting meetings (H&S and Employee committee) required
Three (3) years or more experience investigating and reporting workplace accidents and incidents required
