We are seeking a hands-on Assembly Supervisor to supervise assembly staff members . The Assembly Supervisor will be responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work.

Supervise 6-8 hourly assembly staff members; also acts as a working supervisor
Meet all targets for quality, productivity, on-time delivery and cost
Monitor scrap/rework generated by assembly personnel/processes and or returns. Generate corrective actions when necessary
Actively participate in improving material flow; develop new ideas, or methods to improve efficiency
Verify material availability by maintaining accurate material identification, accurate counting, and reporting
Drive continuous improvement activities to increase efficiency and reduce cost
Coordinate with shipping and transportation departments to ensure products are being processed in a timely manner exceeding customer expectations
Help establish and implement company rules and safety procedures to assure a clean and safe work environment
Maintains a clean and organized work area
Directs team on proper assembly processes and techniques
At least 3 years of experience in Production/Assembly Supervision
High School Diploma/GED required
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs
Foster team and collaborative environment within the department and with other departments in the company.
