As the Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for performing all functions of customer service, as well as order entry, load tracking and driver communication. What you'll do on a typical day:


+ Schedule delivery appointments


+ Monitor driver performance, hours and DOT compliance issues


+ Perform data entry and track-and-trace duties


+ Provide freight pay and claims resolution


+ Manage driver paperwork and bills of lading and customer order information


What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, you'll need:


+ 1 year of related experience


It'd be great if you also have:


+ High school diploma or equivalent


+ Experience in transportation and DOT regulations


+ Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask


+ Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills


+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Omnitracs
