Midwest Goods Inc. Warehouse Receiving Admin in Bensenville, Illinois
Location: Bensenville, IL (On-site warehouse setting)
Title: Receiving Coordinator
Status: Full - Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
The receiving coordinator verifies and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Complete incoming product inspection, confirmation of certificate of conformance, and reconciliation of receiving/purchase documentation.
Unpack, examine, and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages.
Receive and process all defective parts returned.
Report shortages and defective products or products of questionable conditions to the department supervisor or manager.
Work with the Purchasing department on backorder requirements, stock shortages/ pick-ups/deliveries from vendors.
Enter invoices into the accounting system and complete daily receiving entries and purchase orders in the inventory management system.
Create and distribute useful reports using Excel and available reporting systems.
Track the status of goods and materials using an inventory control system.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience
HS Diploma or GED and one year of a factory- or warehouse-related experience in shipping and receiving
Intermediate computer skills and Microsoft Office experience.
Ability to work in a non - climate-controlled environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, reach up and climb, all day.
Must be able to lift and move items over 50 pounds.
Familiarity with an inventory management system.
Experience with freight carrier systems such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL
