This job was posted by : For more information, please see: QUALIFICATIONS:1)High School Diploma Degree in Operations related field a plus.2)2-5 years' experience in Shipment Planning or Customer Service.3)Experience in warehouse operations, receiving and inventory management, logistics and shipment planning. 4)Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.5)Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and ERP. .6)Self-motivated and takes initiative to direct and improve department.7)Detail orientated with strong organizational skills.8)Cooperative attitude with good interpersonal skills.PRIMARY DUTIES:The primary duties of the employee are (but not limited to):1.Review emails, communicate expedites, planning changes and prioritize daily tasks.2.Coordinate with Sales and Supply Chain teams to resolve customer issues.3.Print and categorize Sales Orders.4.Review Sales Orders for stock or possible shortages.5.Update Backorders Board to manage late orders, partials and advise ship dates.6.Create Fabrication Cards for production orders and update Fabrication Planning board.7.Secure freight/transportation for outbound orders and invoice shipments.8.Create and email Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs).9.Update daily reports and email to management.10.Review office supplies and coordinate purchases with the buyer.11.Other responsibilities as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.ORGANIZATIONAL AUTHORITYAll personnel have the freedom to:1.Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities related to product, process and or the system.2.Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process and the management system.3.Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.4.Verify the implementation of solutions.5.Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.MTR's (MINIMAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS)NEW HIRE TRAINING1.
