The Cary Company Truck Driver in Addison, Illinois
The Cary Company is seeking an ambitious, energetic individual to support our Addison, IL warehouse. This position is great for those who possess a Class A CDL license with haz-mat endorsement and who have knowledge of the Chicagoland area. The driver is responsible for Delivering and picking up goods in an efficient, courteous and safe manner. Comply with all DOT rules and regulations. Occasionally this role will assist our warehouse team in forklift dock work and other tasks. This role pays approximately $18/hr.
Perform and complete daily driving logs
Possess a clean driving record
Warehouse forklift work is 40% of this role- picking orders, assisting in loading trucks, etc
Perform and complete daily pre-trip vehicle inspections
Possess a Class A CDL license with haz-mat endorsement
Deliver material to businesses, primarily industrial, occasional residential buildings and other facilities as per scheduled routes
Occasionally load or unload truck or other warehouse tasks as needed when not making deliveries
No night shifts or rotating shifts
